Big Kids
We realize at ABT that by 3rd grade, this generation is being inundated with technology at an unprecedented pace. Our Big KIDS program utilizes the best video driven and high energy curricula to keep your children engaged and excited about learning Godly habits and desiring to serve God with their lives. This program is fast-paced and gives a lot of opportunity for kids to make lasting friendships. We give devotional challenges on a weekly basis encouraging them to get into the Bible more than just on Sunday.
Checking your child in is a safe, easy process!
At our KIDS check-in station, you will be greeting by one of our KIDS team members who will help you find where your kids need to go. They will also be able to answer any questions you might have about our kids programs.
What to Expect
What your child will learn
Each week your child will hear a Bible story and will learn about Jesus' love for them.
drop off & pick up
During our Sunday School hour at 10am, you will drop your child off in their individual Sunday School classroom. However, if you come at 11am, you will drop your child off in the Big KIDS Church room. After the 11am service, you will be able to pick your child up in the Big KIDS Church room. (see map at the bottom of this page)
Large Group Experience
After the 10am Sunday School hour, your children will be taken to Big KIDS Church where they will sing songs, play a game, and hear a Bible lesson.
continuing the conversation
Our goal is to partner with parents in teaching kids the gospel. One way we do this is each week we send home a paper describing what your child learned in Sunday School with some questions on it so that on the way home, you can ask your child what they learned.
Other Programs
ABT Children's Choir
Our Children’s Choir is for kindergarten through 6th grade and meets on Sunday evenings in the Youth Chapel (room 113).
Your children will learn songs and choreography to be performed in a winter and spring musical; as well as perform a few songs on various Sunday evenings.
Our Choir Staff is made up of adults and teenagers. We average over 100 kids and 20 workers each week. The choir meets on Sunday evenings from 6pm – 7pm in the youth chapel. Check in starts at 5:30pm.
The Children’s Choir operates on a schedule roughly parallel to the school calendar, leaving the summer open.
AWANA
Truth & Training meet on Wednesday evenings from 7:30pm – 8:30pm. This is an AWANA program for 3rd – 6th grade. There they will learn Bible verses, hear a Bible story, and play games. Truth & Training clubbers will meet in the Big Gym.
AWANAs operates on a schedule roughly parallel to the school calendar, leaving the summer open.
