Jr. Kids

1st and 2nd graders are at a place in their lives when they see God as more than just a creator and facilitator of everything in our universe.  They begin to realize their need for a relationship with God.  We see many of our Jr. KIDS pray and ask God to save them from their sin.  Our staff and volunteers focus on the relationship between them and God.  We want them to recognize their need for Jesus and to apply the Bible to their everyday life.  Our themed hallways are exciting and loaded with Bible stories that engage children before they even enter their classrooms.

Checking your child in is a safe, easy process!

At our KIDS check-in station, you will be greeting by one of our KIDS team members who will help you find where your kids need to go. They will also be able to answer any questions you might have about our kids programs.

What to Expect

What your child will learn

Each week your child will hear a Bible story and will learn about Jesus' love for them.

drop off & pick up

During our Sunday School hour at 10am, you will drop your child off in their individual Sunday School classroom. However, if you come at 11am, you will drop your child off in the Jr. KIDS Church room. After the 11am service, you will be able to pick your child up in the Jr. KIDS Church room. (See map at the bottom of the page.)

Large Group Experience

After the 10am Sunday School hour, your children will be taken to Jr. KIDS Church where they will sing songs, play a game, and hear a Bible lesson.

continuing the conversation

Our goal is to partner with parents in teaching kids the gospel. One way we do this is each week we send home a paper describing what your child learned in Sunday School with some questions on it so that on the way home, you can ask your child what they learned.
